The book will be compiled by taking all the information kindly inputted by the section secretaries and event co-ordinators into the events portal by the 16th November. Please could you try to input as much information as possible for the 2019 riding season by this date. These booklets will then be produced and sent to sections to be distributed to members in January.

Please could section secretaries/event co-ordinators who access the events portal check that they are not duplicating entries and could you also check the posting for errors before submitting them. Management Directors

Over the last month, Jim Lee has tendered his resignation as Director from the board. Also, Justin Harvey-James has decided not to renew his membership and therefore is unable to continue as a Club Director. We wish both of them all the best for the future and extend our thanks and gratitude for all the hard work they have put into the management committee during their terms of office.

We are particularly interested in pre 1930’s hand change machines. It is possible to camp/caravan at Curborough the night before if you are travelling quite a distance, but it is a very basic site. Please contact the office for further information.

There will also be a social run on Saturday 15th June 2019 leaving the Museum at 10am, please contact the office for a registration form, or sign on the day between 9am and 10am. The run is open to all eligible club machines.

The Banbury Autojumble is steadily filling up, but there are still pitches available for those wishing to sell their wares, or clearing out the garage to make room for other projects. Contact Michelle events@vmcc.net for an application form.

Please note that this year’s Banbury sees most of the major works on the site completed which allows spectator parking to move from the JLR parking area to within the Museum grounds. Spectator parking this year will only be a short walk from the Autojumble area in a new parking area at the side of the new museum building. This removes the requirement for a shuttle bus, and will also avoid the uphill walk along the spine road.

The main competitor parking which previously has been at the top of the spine road also moves to the rear of the bike assembly area where there is ample parking for 450 competitors, while a further 50 competitor vehicles can be parked at the rear of the museum as in previous years.
