Do you own a motorbike or scooter over 25 years old? Would you like to ride it in the company of like-minded enthusiasts, in some of Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Monmouthshire's prettiest and most unspoilt roads? Would you like to 'chew the fat' and socialise over a cup of tea, a pub lunch or afternoon tea?
If the answer to any of those questions is yes, why not come along to one of the Worcestershire section of the VMCC's meetings! You don't have to be a member of the VMCC (Vintage Motor Cycle Club) to come along for some 'taster' runs, although if you enjoy it enough to keep coming back (which we're sure you will!) we might politely suggest that you join!
You don't have to ride a Vintage Brough Superior, or a '50s British 'classic' to come along. We welcome anything from a 1920s Triumph, to a 1990s Kawasaki -you'll be greeted in an equally friendly manner. Plus, you'll discover some great routes you never knew existed, and all in the company of fellow enthusiastic bikers of all ages and sexes!
Located close to the heart of this magnificent and historic county, the city of Worcester itself is world famous for its Cathedral dating back to 1084, and was also the place for the final battle of the English Civil War, in 1651, between Oliver Cromwell’s Army & King Charles II.
The city & county were also known for glove manufacture, Spode porcelain, Worcestershire sauce, the Morgan Car company, Severn Valley Railway and beautiful scenery.
The Worcestershire VMCC section has had a very active membership for many years and enjoys rides into the surrounding countryside taking in the magnificent surrounding scenery of the Malvern Hills, as well as regular runs into the neighbouring counties of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Shropshire and Warwickshire, and further afield into Powys and Monmouthshire!
